Microneedle PDRN Kit - Fades Post-Acne Scars

Post-acne scars do not sit on the surface. They sit under it, which is exactly where a cream cannot go.

The system is two parts: a sealed serum vial and a fresh single-use applicator head. The head presses straight onto the vial on a silicone collar, so the vial becomes the handle. No screw thread, no decanting: the serum never leaves the vial it was filled and sealed in.

Behind the 24K gold-plated, square-tip needles sits a patented internal spring-pressure mechanism. Square tips rather than round, which opens a wider channel per press. Every press opens temporary micro-channels in the surface layer and releases a metered dose of serum in the same motion, which is what helps enhance serum absorption. That is the entire point of the format: the PDRN (salmon DNA), peptides and centella are placed into the layers where the scars read from, instead of sitting on top of skin that is built to keep them out.

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide: a purified DNA fraction derived from salmon, chosen because its sequence is unusually close to human DNA and therefore well tolerated on skin.

It has been used in Korean aesthetic clinics for years, mostly around recovery work: post-procedure skin, wound healing, and the kind of repair protocols people fly there for. In cosmetic use it is valued for two things:

• It supports the skin environment that fibroblasts work in, the cells behind collagen.
• It helps calm the look of redness and irritation, which is half the problem with fresh post-acne skin.

The catch has always been delivery. PDRN in a cream is a marketing claim; the molecule is large and the surface layer is a barrier. We built this around an at-home micro-infusion format for exactly that reason, so the ingredient is placed rather than applied.

The tips are ultra-fine, 0.13 mm in diameter, and calibrated for the upper layers of the skin. The spring mechanism meters the dose instead of relying on how hard you press, which is what keeps the application even rather than aggressive. No numbing, no downtime, no appointment.

Every head is EO sterilized, individually sealed and single use, made in an ISO 13485 certified facility in a class 10,000 cleanroom. You never treat with a tip that has touched skin before.

The serum is fragrance-free and alcohol-free, formulated for sensitive, post-acne skin. Allergy note: the serum contains PDRN derived from salmon DNA. Do not use it if you have a fish allergy. A little warmth or redness for an hour afterwards is normal. Patch test on the inner forearm first if you know you are reactive, and if you react to metal jewellery note that the tips are gold-plated and we do not currently state what the plating sits on. Not for use on active breakouts, broken, irritated or sunburned skin, or while using prescription retinoids or isotretinoin without asking your doctor first.

There is nothing to gain from going faster. The days between sessions are when the rebuilding happens. Scars that have been there for years are a dosing question rather than a different product: most people take the 3 month box, 9 applications, and judge the result at week 12.

Fast on the surface, slower on the scars themselves. Anyone promising you both in two weeks is selling you a timeline that does not exist.

24 to 48 hours: skin usually looks more hydrated and feels smoother. That is the serum doing serum things, not collagen.

Weeks 4 to 6, applications 3 to 5: texture is where most people notice the first real change. The surface starts catching light more evenly, which is often what other people register before you do.

Weeks 8 to 12, applications 6 to 9: the window most customers describe as the point the scars began to look visibly shallower and less defined. Collagen is built on a timeline of weeks, not days, and that is the honest reason the full box runs three months.

Take a photo on day one. Same spot, same light, no filter. At week 12 you will have evidence instead of a feeling.

Yes, and the method does not care whether the scar is two years old or twenty. The cells that build collagen are still present in older scars. They have simply had no reason to act.

What changes with older or deeper scars is the dosing, not the approach: plan the full 3 month course and expect the change to build gradually between weeks 6 and 12 rather than in the first month.

Where we will not oversell you: flat discoloration and shallow, rolling scars respond fastest. Sharply defined pitting of the ice-pick type is the slowest of all, and a home system can soften how it reads in daylight rather than erase it. If that is your main concern, we would rather say so now than take your money and hope.

What your skin rebuilds is structural: new tissue filling depth that was empty before. It is not a coating that washes off or a filler that drains away, so the improvement does not reverse the week you stop.

What does continue is normal aging and any new breakouts. Most customers move to a lighter rhythm afterwards, one application a month, to stay ahead of new scars instead of repairing them later. Daily sunscreen does more for keeping the result than any additional serum.
